Recently pinned as one of the best energy bars to replaced a missed meal, Clif Bars are really a good option for those who are on the go or for those on a workout regimen. I've bought a box of these for my dorm and I eat one when I don't have the time to get lunch between classes. The caloric value of one of these bars is in the 200s, so it provides enough energy for you body to run on for a while. There are also enough decent amounts (%15~30) of a wide variety of vitamins and minerals (zinc, vit. c, b1, b2, a, etc.) per bar to be called a well-rounded health food. Being %70 organic and %100 natural doesn't hurt the brand either. A great health-conscious buy!

Cliff Bars are great...
...this price is better. Sold separately in store I've seen these range from $1.50 on sale to $3.00 each. Great price for a quality on-the-go filler-up.

This is a great product for the elderly who are having a hard time consuming enough calories and are tired of nutritional drinks. For the old folks who have dentures or problems with chewing/swallowing I would recommend this. The bars are dense and should be eaten in small bites if choking is an issue. It's difficult to find good quality, high calorie food that also satisfies the sweet tooth that many elderly have.
